ESFA Framework Tender and Mini Competition Wins

« return

Propeller has continued its track record of success by helping a National PLC to secure a place on the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA) £4bn school building Framework.

This was an important bid for our client. Those contractors that failed to win a place on the framework are thought to be excluded from the larger end of the school building market. Contractors outside the framework are able to bid for local authority work. However, it is understood that councils are increasingly using the ESFA framework for their school building projects to cut down on procurement costs.

Contractors were asked to provide evidence of a well-developed, standardised approach to the design and build of schools. In addition, how they would approach price and refurbishment projects. They were also asked to make a firm commitment on prices when tendering for the framework.

This National PLC is a long-standing client of Propeller. They knew that our talented graphic design team would create a bid submission for them that reflected its experience and suitability for delivering the framework.

The submission had a tight page count. Our design team was tasked with converting text into impactful infographics, charts and tables. This enabled our client to include a vast range of information that would have been impossible to include in body copy.

The client team joined our designers at our head office, and worked late into the night to perfect the submission as the deadline loomed. As with all the submissions we undertake, the deadline was comfortably met. All stakeholders were extremely happy with the final submission.

Propeller has helped the client secure places on a number of education projects, including securing a place on the shortlist for the PF2 North East batch last month, and winning the £64m Priority School Building Programme.
